My kids have been away at camp this week, and surprisingly, I did not really do that much reading. Reading is easy to do while they're around so I used my time doing hot yoga,…

We spent six days on Orcas Island, where we had very little cell coverage, and the kids got to be very free range. So that means I got a lot of reading in. Perfect trip…

I'm on summer time, so kind of slacking on weekly recaps. But we're not slacking on reading or going to the library. I absolutely loved The Great Believers. I've loved everything she's written but this…

I'm still fairly jet lagged, and the weather in Seattle is pretty dumb, but here's one of my favorite pictures from our trip. I hate to say it, but I didn't love Providence the way…

The week in review- supersize edition

June 23rd, 2018Amy0 Comments

I've been a slacker about posting, but not about reading, so I have about 52 million books to recap here. Right now I'm on a desktop computer and drinking hot chocolate, because why stop at…

About Me

I love to read. I've always loved to read. Most days, it's the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. I know I'll never be able to read all the books that I want to, but I'm giving it my best shot. When I'm not reading, I'm probably running. You may have seen me out there with the pink socks, although I recently switched to green and blue. (Go 'Hawks!) It's lucky that I love to run because I have a pretty serious sweet tooth. What do I love more, making dessert or eating it? Too close to call. But I do know that my kids will grow up knowing how to make a perfect brownie.
